Festivals, holidays and ritual celebrations impart a considerable knowledge to the youth of the age.
Such celebrations are vital to developing the intellectual faculties of the younger generation.
They also provide the youth with fun and enjoyment.
Many kinds of festivals are observed in our country.
They are a part of our culture and civilization.
Meena Bazaar is one of them. It is arranged in girl’s schools.
It is usually celebrated after the annual examination in spring. It is the season when the colorful flowers bloom in plenty.
Last year, we also celebrated a Meena Bazaar in our school.
It was a wonderful function. A lot of preparations were made before the celebration.
The girls of various schools were invited to participate in the function.
On the day of the function, the girls wore gay and radiant clothes.
The colorful dresses of girls looked as beautiful as the colorful sight of a rainbow in the sky.
In the function, there was a lot of festivity, gala, and chitchat.
Stalls of various things were also set up.
They offered a variety of things and services to the students, guests, and visitors.
The things sold on the stalls were good but a bit expensive.
The function included the musical shows, classical plays, local dances, and folk songs.
The cultural show was the most prominent mark of the function.
Traditional dresses and local cultural exhibitions were held with a high sense of superiority.
In short, the function was highly a success.
